IMPOSTER Frequently Asked Questions

What is IMPOSTER?

IMPOSTER makes non-alcoholic, spirit-inspired Whiskey, Tequila, Gin, and Rum for cocktails. Each expression has a different flavor direction. No exact replica of an alcoholic spirit is promised.

Compare the four expressions

Are IMPOSTER products alcohol-free?

The core IMPOSTER spirit-inspired range is described as 0.0% ABV. Check the current bottle label. Added bitters, extracts, mixers, and garnishes may have different alcohol content, so the bottle alone does not establish that the whole cocktail is alcohol-free.

What does each expression taste like?

Gin: crisp juniper and citrus. Tequila: earthy agave, subtle smoke, vanilla, cayenne, and oak. Rum: vanilla, citrus, caramel, and wood. Whiskey: citrus, caramel, oak, cedar, walnut, and cinnamon. These are tasting notes, not complete ingredient lists.

How do I use IMPOSTER in a cocktail?

Start with the expression and measured quantities in a recipe. Gin works in botanical serves, Tequila in citrus-led drinks, Rum in lime and tropical-fruit serves, and Whiskey in woody or spiced cocktails. Check all supporting ingredients and make a single serving before batching.

Can I drink it neat or over ice?

Yes. The official product descriptions include serving on its own, and you can also use ice or a cocktail recipe. Taste preferences differ, and an identical alcoholic-spirit sensation is not promised.

How big is the bottle, and how many servings does it contain?

The four core bottle images show 750 mL labels. Confirm the current bottle and variant when buying. Servings depend on the recipe’s measured pour; there is no single serving count that applies to every cocktail.

Ask a bottle-specific question

Does an opened bottle need refrigeration?

Follow the storage and refrigeration directions on the current bottle label. If they do not answer your question, contact IMPOSTER for bottle-specific guidance.
